WHY PEARLS ARE OF DIFFERENT COLORS

Both wild and hatchery raised oysters, which produce pearls, depend on the myriad of environmental changes. Slight fluctuation in water currents and temperatures may impact on the oyster. Because of inappropriate life conditions an opyster can catch a cold, become weak or stop the shaping process. As a result, only large and finely shaped with few blemishes pearls are exquisitely precious.
